Fest'Avi: Call for participation

Francogrid Fest'Avi runs from 2014/06/06 to 2014/08/06 .FrancoGrid wishes to renew on its website its avatar's registration proposal.

These avatars will be available as "freebies" on the grid under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

FrancoGrid residents and those of the Metaverse are invited to submit their original creations.

Dates and venue: 06-07-08 June 2014 on region "Avatar".

Participation: Participants must have an active account on FrancoGrid or all grids powered by OpenSimulator .

Registration: Registration is done on the FrancoGrid forum website (creator name + name of the grid where he is resident) .

Deadline for registration to participate in the parade as creators is May 26, 2014 at midnight French time .

Creations delivery date: the deadline to give the creations to FrancoGrid organizers is May 26, 2014 at midnight French time .

Regulation

- Minimum composition of the avatar: Avatars should include (at minimum) a shape, a skin, eyes, hair (essential elements)

- The choice of themes, categories and numbers of avatars presented are free.

- The avatars will be provided with full authorization (can be copied, modified, transferred).

- The submitted designs must be under the so-called "PG" standard (every public) defined as follows: no vulgarity , no suggestion of violence, no profanity, no genitals exposed, no weapons (avatars dedicated to role plays will be presented without their weapons, but their weapons as accessories may be presented separately).

- Avatars must be original creations, the collaboration between designers is possible. The use of sculpties, meshes, textures or any other open resources is permitted if reworked and indicate the sources.

- The copybots will be disqualified.

- All creation must be under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International).

- The complete avatar folder will be boxed and named:

your username + the title of the avatar and her outfit.

Ex: "John Doe" - "Ruth Avatar"

- Parade and vote: The public and a jury will determine the chosen creations by a vote.

Registration of the participants on the forum and creations delivered at fixed dates represent their engagement in order to establish the event in best conditions.

Participants authorize, by their entry, the use of their creations under a Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 by FrancoGrid association making them available to its users on the FrancoGrid grid.

Participants while registering agree with conditions of participation set out above and agree to respect the FrancoGrid's CGU.
